SIMS Financial Management System (FMS) covers the full range of accounting functions required by schools, whether they run their own accounts locally or have their finances managed centrally by their Local Authority. FMS is a finance package that runs separately to SIMS but which can be linked to gain information from SIMS.
FMS can record all order and invoice information for suppliers, recording budgets and commitments along with cash book transactions, petty cash and general journals. It also produces cheque runs and bank reconciliations along with all the period end/year end procedures. It can also store and calculate salary information using SIMS as well as produce sales invoices and record equipment and Assets.
